Lava - sold out
Magda Lukas draws inspiration from the mysterious beauty of the secret life, imagining a world full of peace, grace and beauty with bold and striking colours derived from nature.
Electric Dream - sold out
Electric Dream is my favourite collection painted in June 2018. This collection is especially influenced by the warm summer we enjoyed. What a joy it was to hop around colourful Kinsale in my little car, pulling in to take photos on nothing more than a whim and imagine this colourful collection.
Agates are Forever
Soft and flowing, the ‘Agates are Forever’ collection is a moment of calm mixed with the energy of belonging.
The repetition of lines became a meditative exercise: arranging the patterns into an organic circle, infusing each with its marks of distinction, creating the moment of calm and belonging.
This collection was painted in Spring 2018.
The Brain Orgasm
The ‘Brain Orgasm’ is a small collection of some of my favourite artwork painted in July 2018.
Wheel of Fortune - sold out
The same forces that govern the changing of the seasons or the rising and setting of the sun are also the masters of luck and the fate of individuals. Where fortune lands is as random as chance - you may find yourself at either the top or bottom, but remember that no matter what the outcome is, it may not last for very long, for the wheel always turns.
The ‘Wheel of Fortune’ is a small collection painted in July 2018.
THE ABUNDANCE
Dear collectors and art lovers, I know many of you have been looking forward to this new art. The Abundance Collection is here. Creating this little collection has been the sweetest gift to me this season. I hope it brings you some refreshment and joy too.
STANDING STILL
I like to find positives in negative circumstances. This long dark lockdown offered me an opportunity to create my latest art collection - Standing Still. This time it wasn’t love that made me paint. This time it was pain & grief.
This new 26-piece collection captures our world’s ever changing balance of energy flow between chaos and order, grief and joy, power & love which we have all experienced during this pandemic. Each painting is an abstract self-portrait, capturing my own feelings whilst creating. Throughout the last year it felt like the whole world was breaking down, the old structures we had in place just didn’t work any more. We were all forced to stand still amidst a global crisis and I found great empowerment in this act of slowing down. We had no other choice but to stand still.
Joy Comes in The Morning
With the Cork sun kissing slowly our skin and seeing the world bathed in a fresh sun glow this Spring, everything felt warm and beautiful. I captured the essence of this with our beautiful new Apricot & Orange mini art collection called Joy Comes in The Morning.
Art that not only looks amazing on your walls but also makes you FEEL fresh, energetic & feminine. Perfect for long entry hallways 🍑
